Bellinzoni Epower Advance — Translucent Knife-Grade Vinyl Ester Adhesive for Marble, Quartz & Ceramic (750 mL Kit)
Bellinzoni Epower Advance is a knife-grade vinyl ester adhesive for marble, granite, quartz and ceramic. It gives a clear, translucent result for visible seams, especially on white and light-colored materials. Mix it with 1–3% BPO paste hardener by weight; gel time is about 10–12 minutes at 68°F (20°C).
Features
- Vinyl ester formulation with strong bonding and excellent mechanical resistance
- Solid knife-grade consistency (thixotropic soft paste) for seaming, lamination and gluing
- Clear, translucent, whitish finish — highly recommended for white and light materials
- Highly indicated for 45° and 90° mitering and lamination
- Bonds marble, granite, engineered stone (quartz), marble/resin and ceramic
- For interior and exterior applications
- Can be sanded or polished after about 2 hours
- 24-month shelf life in the original packaging
- Always test the product first on a small, hidden area to check the final result and compatibility with the material — on certain materials it may darken or change the original color.
- Make sure the surfaces are completely dry and clean, free of dirt, dust, grime and surface incrustations. Cover and protect the surrounding areas.
- Weigh out only the amount of Part A you need. Add 1–3% Part B paste hardener (dibenzoyl peroxide) by weight — a mixing ratio of 100:1–3 — and mix until smooth and homogeneous. Never add hardener to the whole can of Part A.
- Apply the mixed adhesive with a spatula, covering the surfaces evenly. Press the parts together firmly, or fill the cavities as required.
- Working time is about 10–12 minutes at 72°F (22°C). Bonded parts can be moved after 20 minutes. Let the adhesive cure fully before sanding, machining or polishing — about 2 hours.
- Clean tools with acetone. Wear the protective equipment listed on the label and read the safety data sheet completely before use.

How much hardener should I use?
Use 1–3% Part B BPO paste by weight of Part A. More than 3% can make the adhesive burn or change color, and less than 1% delays the gel time.
When can I sand or polish the joint?
After about 2 hours. Bonded parts can be moved after 20 minutes. Curing time varies with the ambient temperature, the amount of hardener and the size of the mixed batch.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, it is intended for interior and exterior applications. Bellinzoni notes that outdoors, depending on the weather, the adhesive may lose some of its chemical and mechanical properties over time.
What is the minimum working temperature?
Application below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.
⚠ Safety: Always wear appropriate PPE. Follow local safety regulations when using chemical products. Read the SDS before use.
