Akemi Anti-Slide R9 Anti-Slip Treatment for Natural Stone
AKEMI Anti-Slide R9 is a water-based, inorganic anti-slip treatment that reacts chemically with the siliceous components of the stone to create microscopic pores that improve wet slip resistance to an R9 rating — without a surface film. Applied undiluted and neutralized after reaction, it makes floors, stairs and wet areas safer indoors and outdoors while leaving the stone able to breathe.

- Achieves an R9 rating per DIN 51130 / BGR 181
- Water-based and film-free — the stone stays breathable
- Broad coverage — approx. 10–20 m²/L
- Suitable indoors and outdoors on siliceous natural stone
- Applied undiluted, then neutralized and rinsed
Increasing wet slip resistance on siliceous natural stone floors, stairs, entrances and wet areas indoors and outdoors. Apply evenly and liberally with a sponge or floor mop, keep the surface wet throughout the reaction, then neutralize with AKEMI Stone Cleaner and rinse thoroughly. Not for acid-sensitive surfaces such as marble, limestone, glazed ceramics or enamel.
