Alpha® Wool Pads — T160 High-Nap (Rotary)
Alpha® T160 High-Nap Wool Pads are knitted wool cutting pads engineered for rotary polishers, removing deep scratches, overspray and severe swirl marks with a heat-resistant fiber that cuts fast without burning the finish. The dense high-nap construction delivers a high cut rate on heavy oxidation while keeping vibration low for controlled hand-held use.

- Mount the pad to a hook-and-loop rotary backing pad sized to match the wool pad diameter.
- Apply a heavy-cut compound to the work surface (not directly to a dry wool pad) to prime.
- Start the polisher at low RPM to spread compound, then increase to manufacturer-recommended cutting speed.
- Keep the pad moving in overlapping passes; do not dwell — wool generates heat quickly under pressure.
- Clean the pad on-the-fly with a pad-cleaning spur, and wash with a wool-pad cleaner after each job.
- Air-dry flat with the wool face up; do not tumble dry.
