Alpha® Wet Blade Cutting Kit
Alpha® offers several sizes of Wet Blade Cutting Kits to fit the most popular grinders on the market. This unique kit lets you convert a dry angle grinder into a wet-cutting tool so you can run wet diamond blades on the grinders you already own. Available for 4-1/2", 5", 6", 7", and 9" grinders in both 110V and 220V configurations — with a kink-free water hose, GFCI plug, and Loc-Line assembly for safe, controlled wet operation.

- Power off and unplug the angle grinder before any conversion work.
- Remove the existing dry guard. Install the Alpha® wet safety guard and secure with the stainless steel and plastic collars to match your grinder neck.
- Attach the Loc-Line water assembly to the safety guard. Route the kink-free water hose along the grinder body and secure with the hook & loop tie and memory wrap (3 ft / 1 m).
- Connect the quick-connect adapter to a standard garden hose or water-feed source. Open the inline valve slightly to confirm flow at the blade.
- Plug the grinder into the supplied GFCI plug (110V kits) before connecting to AC power. Always run wet kits through a GFCI.
- Install a compatible wet diamond blade (Plus, Q-Cut, Porcellana, Sonic, Vetro, Vortex, Contour, etc.) following the blade manufacturer’s torque spec.
- Start water flow first, then start the grinder. Cut with steady pressure — let the blade and water do the work.
- After cutting, stop the grinder first, then shut off water. Disconnect from power before cleaning.
