Tenax Universal Color Paste
A concentrated coloring paste for tinting polyester, epoxy and acrylic stone adhesives. Add it a drop at a time to match the glue to marble, granite, quartz and other stone so seams, laminations and repairs blend in. Use one color on its own or blend several, keeping the total at no more than 2–3% of the adhesive weight. Ten colors come in 2 oz bottles and nine in 8 oz bottles, plus a 10-color set and a 6-color set.

- Dispense the amount of adhesive you need for the job.
- Add color paste a drop at a time until you reach the shade you want. Blend two or more colors to match the stone.
- Mix thoroughly until the color is even.
- Keep the total amount of color at no more than 2–3% of the adhesive weight. Too much pigment can reduce the quality of the glue.
- Use the tinted adhesive according to that adhesive’s own instructions.
- Close the bottle right after use and keep the paste in its original container, out of direct sunlight.

Which adhesives can I color with it?
Polyester, epoxy and acrylic stone adhesives.
How much color can I add?
No more than 2–3% of the adhesive weight. A little goes a long way; too much pigment can weaken the glue.
Can I mix colors together?
Yes. Blend two or more colors to reproduce the shade of the stone you are working on.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. The paste is UV stable for indoor and outdoor work.
How long does it keep?
At least 12 months in the closed original container, stored at 64–77°F (18–25°C) away from heat, humidity and sunlight.
What is the difference between the 2 oz and 8 oz bottles?
Only the amount. It is the same paste; the 8 oz bottle suits shops that use a color every day. Blue comes in the 2 oz size only.
