Tenax Tepox Q Color Match System Tepox Q Black is a specialized chemical color liquid used for color matching stone slabs that have been resined with color additives. It can also be used to enhance or alter the appearance of stone slabs for specific applications. Whether used alone or mixed with other colors, Tepox Q offers flexibility in achieving the desired effect. Tepox Q is designed to be used with Tenax Ager or Ager Tiger and is recommended to be followed up with Tenax Proseal or Tenax Protex premium grade sealers. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Key Features: Indoor & Outdoor Use Can Be Used Individually or Mixed with Other Colors Compatible with Ager & Ager Tiger Enhances and Alters Slab Colors Perfect for Color Matching Stone Slabs Directions for Use: Polish the Stone: Bring the stone to a 400-grit polish. Dry the Stone: Ensure the stone is as dry as possible to maximize product penetration. Apply Tepox Q: Use full strength; do not dilute. Apply directly to the stone. Dry the Tepox Q: Allow the product to dry completely. You can use a heat gun to force dry or let it dry naturally. Apply Tenax Ager: Once Tepox Q is dry, apply Tenax Ager over it and allow it to dry fully (force dry or naturally). Polish the Stone: Continue polishing the stone. We recommend using Weha 3 Step Polishing Pads. Dry Again: After polishing, force dry or allow the stone to dry completely. Reapply Tepox Q: Apply Tepox Q again to fill in any newly exposed pores from polishing, adjusting until the color matches the desired look. Final Drying: Force dry or allow the Tepox Q to dry completely. Finish with Ager & Sealer: Reapply Tenax Ager as directed over Tepox Q. Once fully dry, finish with Tenax Proseal, an ultra-premium sealer, to lock in the color. Shelf Life: Tepox Q will last for at least 12 months if stored between 65°F and 77°F.
