Alpha® Spike Ruler
The Alpha® Spike Ruler is designed for professionals who require a precision straightedge that will not slip on thin porcelain tiles or panels with texturized surfaces. An integrated spike at the top of the ruler grabs the edge of the worktable to lock the ruler in place during scoring, snapping and cutting operations.

- Aluminum extrusion with wooden base for stable, low-friction contact
- Ideal for thin porcelain tile and large-format panel fabrication
- Wooden base is removable for direct use with the Alpha® EZ Thin Tile Cutter system

- Position the workpiece on the fabrication table with the cut line aligned to the worktable edge.
- Hook the spike at the top of the ruler over the table edge so the aluminum bar lies flat across the tile or panel.
- Press down on the ruler to seat the wooden base against the surface — the spike prevents the ruler from sliding while you score.
- Run your score wheel or oscillating blade along the aluminum edge in one steady pass.
- For use with the Alpha® EZ Thin Tile Cutter, remove the wooden base so the ruler seats directly on the cutter rails.
