MB Stone Care MB-1 Floor Amore One Step Rinse-Free Floor Cleaner
MB-1 Floor Amore is a highly concentrated, slightly alkaline floor detergent that is used and left to dry without rinsing. Organic salts in the formula stay behind on the stone to keep it from drying out, while optical brighteners lift the finish and hold a streak-free look with no dulling film. It was developed for marble and granite but is gentle enough for hardwood, ceramic, resilient tile and any other hard surface that water will not harm. Its low-foam chemistry suits automatic scrubbing machines and needs no double scrub on large commercial floors.
Features
- Rinse-free one-step cleaner — mop and let dry, with no dulling film left behind
- Highly concentrated: 1 to 3 fl oz per gallon of warm water (8 to 23 mL/L) depending on soil load
- Organic salts act as moisturizers so natural stone does not dry out
- Optical brighteners enhance the finish and maintain a natural, streak-free look
- Slightly alkaline yet safe on marble and granite
- Also safe on hardwood, ceramic, resilient tile and other hard surfaces not harmed by water
- Low-foam formula built for automatic scrubbers, without a second scrub pass
- Formulated with environmentally safer surfactants
| Part No | Size | Format |
|---|---|---|
| MB-1QT | 32 fl oz (1 quart / 0.95 L) | Concentrate |
| MB-1GAL | 128 fl oz (1 gallon / 3.79 L) | Concentrate |
- Mix 1 to 3 fl oz of MB-1 (4 to 12 capfuls, or 8 to 23 mL/L) into 1 gallon of warm water, using the lower rate for light soil and the higher rate for heavy soil.
- Mop the floor as usual. A mop and bucket are enough for light cleaning; a floor machine gives more aggressive cleaning in industrial settings.
- Do not rinse. Rinsing would strip away the organic salts that are designed to stay on the floor surface.
- Let the floor dry naturally.
- Do not exceed the stated dilution. Overdosing causes no damage but would leave a build-up that then has to be rinsed off.
- Use as often as the floor needs it on natural stone, tile or hardwood.
- Follow the label directions, read the Safety Data Sheet before use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Do I have to rinse the floor afterwards?
No. As long as you dilute the product correctly, let it dry on the floor. Rinsing would remove the organic salts that are meant to stay on the surface.
How much product do I use?
Mix 1 to 3 fl oz per gallon of warm water (8 to 23 mL/L), adjusting for how dirty the floor is. Do not use more than that.
What equipment do I need?
A mop and bucket are the minimum for light cleaning. For more aggressive cleaning in industrial environments a floor machine is preferable, and the low-foam formula is made for automatic scrubbers.
Which floors can I use it on?
It was developed for marble and granite and is gentle enough for hardwood, ceramic, resilient tile and any other hard surface not harmed by water.
How often can I use it?
As often as needed on natural stone, tile or hardwood flooring.
Will it handle heavy soiling?
For heavy soil, a heavy-duty cleaner such as MB-2 Alkaline HD is the better choice. MB-1 is a maintenance cleaner.
What makes it different from other floor detergents?
It is safe on natural stone, requires no rinsing, moisturizes and brightens the stone, and uses environmentally safer surfactants. No aggressive scrubbing is needed.
What safety precautions apply?
Follow the label directions, read the Safety Data Sheet before use and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
