ICON Colorless Knife Grade K-Bond
ICON Colorless Knife Grade is a hybrid polymer-blend adhesive from K-Bond, made by InnoChem LLC. It bonds natural stone, quartz, ceramics, porcelain, dense surfacing materials, and glass. The paste is completely colorless and translucent, so it tints easily to match the substrate, and its non-sag consistency holds its shape when applied to vertical surfaces. Typical uses include seams, edge repair, laminating stone, filling chips, and reinforcing joints with metal or fiberglass rods. Always wear appropriate PPE, follow local safety regulations, and read the SDS before use.

- Confirm surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust or loose debris before bonding.
- Mix in 2–3% BPO hardening paste by weight.
- Apply the paste within the 5–7 minute working time; its non-sag consistency holds on vertical joints and edges.
- Allow 15–30 minutes for the bond to become tack-free.
- Wait 20–30 minutes before machining, grinding or polishing the joint.
