Alpha® ESC-150 / ESC-250 Countertop Trim Kit
The Alpha® Countertop Trim Kit pairs the ESC-150 (110V) or ESC-250 (220V) Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutter with a 6" Carriage Assembly riding on a 4' aluminum Guide Rail, producing dead-straight trim, sink-hole, and rodding-groove cuts on 3/4" (2cm) and 1-1/4" (3cm) stone slabs in a single pass. The kit ships with an Eclipse II 6" blade for natural and engineered stone, a kink-free water hose, and a built-in dust gate that turns the saw dust-free when connected to a HEPA vacuum.

- Lay the slab flat on a Styrofoam sheet larger than the workpiece to dampen vibration.
- Apply Alpha® Surface Protection Tape (BAB0650) along the cut line to protect the finish.
- Position the 4' Guide Rail (ASC-GR04) on the tape and secure it.
- Slide the 6" Carriage Assembly (ASC-6CSM) onto the rail and lock the ESC-150/250 to it.
- For wet cutting, connect water supply via the kink-free hose; for dry, attach a HEPA vacuum to the dust gate.
- Set cutting depth (max 2" / 50.88mm) and verify the Eclipse II 6" blade (DEE006) is tight on the 7/8" arbor.
- Start the saw outside the material, then ease into the cut at a steady feed rate.
- For curves or sink openings, remove the saw from the carriage and free-hand using the rail as a starting guide.

What cutting table is recommended for the ESC-150?
Alpha® recommends a Styrofoam sheet larger than the material. Styrofoam provides good support for the entire surface and dampens vibration. For dry applications, encase the blade in Styrofoam to help contain dust.
How does this kit compare to the Omega Diamond Miter Master System?
The Omega uses two 7" Makita angle grinders (15A each) or a 5" grinder (12A). The Alpha® kit supports miter, plunge, and straight cuts using the carriage. The ESC-150 can be removed from the carriage for curve cutting and other applications, and the electric stone cutter requires less maintenance than angle grinders.
Does the Eclipse II blade cut Porcelain Paver Tiles, Sintered Slabs, and Large-Format Porcelain Panels?
Eclipse II is recommended for Quartzite, Granite, and Engineered Stone. For Porcelain Pavers or Sintered Slabs, Alpha® suggests the Katana or Ultracut blades. For large-format porcelain panels, the Libero blade is recommended, with Katana as an alternative.

Can I use the ASC-5CSM Carriage Assembly on the ESC-150?
No. The ASC-5CSM is designed for the ESC-125 (5" cutter). The compatible assembly is the ASC-6CSM for the ESC-150 and PSC-150.
