Description

Dunlop® DuraPro Steel Toe Boot with Safety-Loc Outsole

The Dunlop® DuraPro is the comfort-focused steel toe boot in the Dunlop range. Its next-generation Safety-Loc outsole is designed for superior traction and is cut with canals that let the boot be washed down and decontaminated quickly — the reason it is specified for food-processing floors. A 360-degree pull tab makes the boot easy to get on and off, and a sloped comfort top prevents chafing when walking and bending. The steel toe and steel shank carry an ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH rating, so the boot insulates against electrical hazard. Made in the United States and sold by the pair.

Dynamic Stone Tools stocks three Dunlop® steel toe boots. They differ mainly in electrical rating and weight:

Model Electrical Rating Outsole
Goliath SD — static dissipative Power lug, multi-tread
DuraPro EH — insulating Safety-Loc, decontamination canals
Chesapeake None BAY-LOC, water-repelling channels
What does the EH rating mean?

EH stands for Electrical Hazard. The boot is built to insulate the wearer against contact with live electrical circuits. This is the opposite of the static-dissipative (SD) construction used on the Dunlop Goliath — choose the rating your jobsite requires.

Why does the outsole have canals?

The next-generation Safety-Loc tread is cut with canals so debris flushes out and the boot can be washed down and decontaminated quickly, which is why it is specified for food-processing environments.

Is it easy to put on and take off?

Yes. The DuraPro adds a 360-degree pull tab for donning and doffing, and a sloped comfort top so the shaft does not chafe when you walk or bend.

What impact and compression rating does it carry?

M I/75 C/75 — the 75 ft-lb impact and 2,500 lb compression class of ASTM F2413-11, rated for men's sizing.

Is it slip resistant?

Yes, the outsole is tested to ASTM F3445-21 SR and the Safety-Loc tread is designed for superior traction.

Is the boot waterproof?

Yes. It is molded as a single piece of PVC with no seams or stitching to leak.

What sizes can I order?

Dynamic Stone Tools stocks US sizes 7 through 13. Dunlop manufactures the DuraPro in US 3 through 16.

Where is it made?

The United States of America.
