Alpha® Scratch Removal Kit
The Alpha® Scratch Removal Kit is a complete field solution for removing scratches and polishing seams on flat stone surfaces. Built around the VSP-320 Variable-Speed Wet Polisher and a full set of Turboshine Rigid discs (#100 through #3000 plus Buff), the kit polishes flat surfaces without the wavy finish left by flexible discs. The included C-Handle improves stability, and the waterproof apron keeps the operator dry during wet polishing.

- Connect the VSP-320 polisher to a GFCI-protected 120V outlet and attach the water supply.
- Mount the dual adapter (DAS35/8PD) to the 5/8"-11 spindle.
- Install the appropriate Turboshine Rigid disc starting with the coarsest grit needed (#100, #200, or #500).
- Set the polisher to a variable speed between 700 and 2,500 RPM for the disc and material.
- Polish the scratch or seam with light, even pressure, keeping the surface wet.
- Progress through the grits #1000, #2000, #3000, then finish with the Turboshine Rigid Buff.
- Wipe the surface dry and inspect under raking light before moving on.

What surfaces can this kit polish?
The kit is designed for flat stone surfaces - countertops, seams, and similar field repairs on granite, marble, engineered stone, and quartz.
Why are Turboshine Rigid discs better than flexible discs for scratch removal?
Rigid discs polish a true flat plane, so they remove scratches without leaving the wavy "orange peel" finish that flexible discs can produce on flat surfaces.
Does the kit include everything needed to start polishing?
Yes - the VSP-320 polisher, the full grit progression #100 to #3000, a Buff disc, dual adapter, and a waterproof apron are all included.
Do I need a water source?
Yes. The VSP-320 is a wet polisher and requires a water supply connected during operation. Always plug it into a GFCI.
