- Mount the blade on the spindle, matching the rotation arrow on the blade to the saw rotation.
- Tighten the flange securely and verify free rotation by hand.
- Connect the water feed and verify steady flow on both sides of the blade before cutting.

Which way do I install the blade?
Blade directional arrows are printed on the front of the blade. Install the blade so the rotation of the saw follows this direction.
What materials can I cut?
Porcelain, ceramic, marble, granite, and engineered stone.
Can I cut Onyx?
Yes. You can cut Onyx with the Porcellana blade. Alpha also recommends the Vetro blade (designed for glass) for Onyx applications.
What tools can I use this blade on?
This blade is designed only for portable rail saws because of its engineering design.
Can I use this blade dry?
No. Wet-cutting diamond blades must always run with water to prevent heat build-up.
How do I improve cutting speed?
The diamonds may be glazed. Re-dress the blade with a soft abrasive such as a dressing stone or a concrete block.
What is the maximum RPM?
PT0801 (8") is rated 7,400 RPM. PT1001 (10") is rated 5,900 RPM. Always observe the lower of the blade and saw rating.
