The Alpha® 20mm Flange Adapter (FAH-M14) lets you mount large flush-cutting blades — eight inches or larger with eight mounting holes — onto a grinder or polisher with an M14-2 spindle. Engineered for contractors, stone fabricators and monumentalists who need a secure, repeatable mount for flush cuts, it is machined from durable, high-quality steel and ships ready to use with all the parts required to install. A 5/8"-11 thread version (FAH-5/8) is available as a separate listing.

- Confirm your grinder/polisher spindle is M14-2 (this flange will not fit 5/8"-11 spindles — use the FAH-5/8 part for those).
- Remove any existing flange or guard hardware from the spindle.
- Thread the FAH-M14 body onto the M14-2 spindle and seat fully.
- Place the 8"+ flush-cutting blade onto the 20mm flange boss, aligning the eight mounting holes.
- Install the supplied bolts through all eight blade holes and tighten in a cross pattern to seat the blade flat.
- Verify the blade runs true with no wobble before powering up.

What blades does the FAH-M14 fit?
Any flush-cutting blade that is 8" or larger and has 8 mounting holes around a 20mm bore.
My grinder has a 5/8"-11 spindle — can I still use this?
No. The FAH-M14 has M14-2 internal threads. For 5/8"-11 spindles, use the FAH-5/8 part number instead.
What does “20mm” refer to?
The 20mm dimension is the bore (center hole) of the flange where the blade seats — it is the standard center bore for large 8-hole flush-cutting blades.
Does the FAH-M14 come with mounting bolts?
