- Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
For treating window sills, corners, and edges made of fine-ground or polished natural and artificial stone such as marble, granite, slate, travertine, terrazzo, and agglomerated marble. Use the whitely transparent grade on light and most stone, and the black grade on dark stone.
- Clean the surface thoroughly with AKEMI® Stone Cleaner; it must be clean and completely dry. Ideal application temperature 59–77°F (15–25°C).
- Apply thinly and evenly with a woolen or cotton cloth.
- On very absorbent, non-polished surfaces, apply several times.
- Polish when the surface appears to become dull — remove surplus with fine, rust-free steel wool (grade 00 or 000) or a clean cloth, then polish with a clean woolen or cotton cloth.
- To delay drying, dilute with AKEMI® Universal Thinner. For regular cleaning afterwards, use AKEMI® Mild Stone Soap.
- Apply in a thin layer only — too thick and the surface will not take a good polish.
- Contains solvents — protect nearby items that are not solvent-resistant (various plastics, rubber, lacquered areas) and keep away from ignition sources.
- If stored cold, warm the product above 59°F (15°C) for a time before application.
- Use AKEMI® Liquid Glove or wear gloves to protect your hands; use with adequate ventilation and eye protection. Consult the AKEMI Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
