The Aardwolf Stone Wedge is a hardened steel plug-and-feather set for splitting dimensional stone along drilled hole lines. Driving the wedge into the feathers exerts controlled outward force to crack granite, marble, and concrete cleanly. Two sizes match common drill bit diameters.

- Drill a line of holes at consistent spacing along the split line.
- Insert the two feathers into a hole, with the plug between them.
- Strike each plug in turn with a heavy hammer in sequence.
- Continue striking down the line until the stone splits.
- Wear safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection throughout.

Featuring two sizes 1 3/8" - 2 1/2'', this tool is used to wedge the slab with a thickness of 0 - 1 1/8" or 0 - 2 3/8", so the Aardwolf slab clamp can be easily inserted while keeping employees out of the fall shadow zone.
