MB Stone Care MB-11® Touch Up Etch Remover & Marble Polishing Powder
MB-11® Touch Up is a hand-applied etch remover and polishing powder built from specialty abrasives and catalysts, so spot polishing takes no power tool at all. It is made for removing light water stains and rings from polished marble, travertine and other calcite-based stone, and works best on light to beige colored stone. Application is simple: a damp folded white cloth, a thin tap of powder, and vigorous back-and-forth rubbing over the affected spot. It is strictly a light-etch product and is not intended for honed finishes or dark stone.

- Test the powder first on a spare tile or an inconspicuous area before treating the visible surface.
- Wear rubber gloves the whole time you handle the product.
- Clean the surface first with a stone-safe cleaner such as Easy Oxy Multi-Surface Cleaner.
- Fold a clean white cloth or microfiber twice to make four layers and wrap it tightly around your fingers and knuckles, holding the loose end out of the way in your palm.
- Spritz the wrapped fingers with water and squeeze out the excess. The cloth should be damp, not wet.
- Tap the damp cloth into the powder to pick up a thin, consistent layer with no loose flaking.
- Rub the affected area vigorously back and forth, quickly and with heavy pressure, for roughly 10 strokes, then finish with a few circular motions.
- Do not wipe residue away dry. Wipe the paste off in a single motion with the loose part of the towel, spray the spot with a pH-neutral cleaner such as MB-5 Stone & More, and buff clean with a second, unused microfiber cloth.
- Inspect the repaired area and repeat with the same cloth as needed, adding a little more water if required.

What damage is MB-11 Touch Up meant to fix?

How do I know if my etching is light enough?
