Aardwolf Forklift Boom
Aardwolf Forklift Booms are telescoping rectangular-tube steel booms that turn a forklift into a slab-lifting crane, letting you reach into containers and set stone where a fork cannot. Each boom extends manually in fixed increments and carries its full rating only when fully retracted — capacity drops as the boom extends because leverage increases. The FB1-2720 carries 3,307 lb (1,500 kg) retracted and 1,102 lb (500 kg) extended, reaches 63.4" to 107.2", weighs 201 lb (91 kg), and suits 2 to 2.5 ton forklift trucks. Larger models in the range are listed below with their own ratings. All are built from AS1163-450 LO rectangular tube steel with a swivel hook, and the extensions are designed so they cannot be pulled all the way out.
