Alpha® VSP-320 / VSP-340 Variable Speed Wet Polisher
The Alpha® VSP-320 (120V) and VSP-340 (230V) replace the legacy VSP-120 with a major overhaul that includes a heavy-duty gear system with step-down transmission, precision-machined parts to minimize noise and vibration, and a specially coated spindle that reduces friction between oil seals. A flexible kink-free water hose, inline GFCI on the power cord, EasyOn-EasyOff sleeve and an exclusive adjustable splash guard with ventilation cap keep water out of the motor housing and make the tool comfortable to handle all day. Variable speed of 700-2,500 RPM covers the full polishing range for granite, marble and engineered stone.

| Part No. | Voltage | Amperage | Speed Range | Spindle | UPC |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| VSP-320 | 120V | 7.0A | 700-2,500 RPM | 5/8"-11 | 749173541032 |

- Verify your supply voltage matches the model — VSP-320 for 120V or VSP-340 for 230V.
- Thread a 5/8"-11 polishing pad, backer pad or polishing disc onto the spindle.
- Connect the 15 ft flexible hose to a garden hose source using the included adapter; open the in-line valve to start water flow.
- Plug in to a grounded outlet and confirm the inline GFCI is operational before each use.
- Install the C-Handle or reversible Side Handle for the most comfortable grip and best control.
- Start at the lowest speed and dial up gradually within the 700-2,500 RPM range to match the abrasive grit.
- Keep the pad flat against the work; let the tool do the work — do not bear down.
- After use, run the spindle briefly to evacuate water and blow-dry the housing with compressed air when available.

Can I use the same carbon brush set from the VSP-120 on the VSP-320 / VSP-340?
No. The VSP-320/340 requires its own designated carbon-brush set; the VSP-120 brushes are not interchangeable.
Can I use the VSP-320 / VSP-340 for cutting applications?
No. Alpha does not recommend using a polisher for cutting; the maximum 2,500 RPM does not deliver enough peripheral speed for safe, efficient cutting.
Is the warranty still 90 days?
No. Alpha warrants the VSP-320/340 against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.
Can I use the VSP-320 / VSP-340 for dry polishing?
No. Although oil-seal friction was reduced in this generation, dry use risks overheating the oil seal and degrading the seal that keeps water out of the motor.
Does Alpha supply a polishing carriage for scratch removal?
No. The polishing carriage has been discontinued in favor of the more user-friendly Turboshine System with Dual Adapter.
What daily maintenance does the polisher need?
Discharge water from the hose and spindle after each shift. When compressed air is available, blow-dry the inside of the motor housing and clear dust from moving parts.
Where can I send the polisher for repair?
You can order spare parts for in-house service, take the tool to a local Alpha dealer, or send it directly to Alpha for factory repair.
What is the difference between the VSP-320 and the VSP-340?
The VSP-320 is the 120V North American version (Type A plug); the VSP-340 is the 230V international version (CEE plug). All other specifications are identical.
