Akemi Natural Stone Basic Cleaner — Concentrated Alkaline Cleaning Agent
AKEMI® Stone Cleaner is a professional, acid-free, highly concentrated cleaning agent built for natural and cast stone. Formulated from non-ionic surfactants, auxiliary agents and solvents — free of phosphates and bases, with readily biodegradable surfactants — it dilutes with water anywhere from 1:1 for heavy soiling up to 1:500 for routine maintenance. It rapidly lifts building-material film, wax and self-brilliant layers, thin concrete haze, oil and grease, soot, rubber and tar marks, and residues of synthetic colors and plaster from marble, granite, travertine, slate, brick, cotto, tile and fair-faced concrete.
- Highly concentrated — dilutes 1:1 up to 1:500, so one bottle covers a wide range of jobs
- Acid-free — free of phosphates and bases, safer on acid-sensitive stone than aggressive acidic cleaners
- Alkaline (pH approx. 10) — cuts oil, grease, soot, wax and tar effectively
- Biodegradable surfactants — formulated to current surface-active-substance regulations
- Broadly compatible — works on natural and cast stone, brick, cotto, tile and fair-faced concrete

Suitable surfaces: all natural and cast stone — marble, granite, travertine, slate — plus bricks and cotto slabs, tiles, fair-faced concrete, cement tiles and similar materials.
Not suitable for: synthetic materials that are not resistant to solvents, and rubber. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Dilute with water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:500 depending on the degree of soiling, then apply to the stone surface.
- Allow the cleaner to work for 10–20 minutes.
- For deep staining, scrub with a brush or nylon pad.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not apply on synthetic materials that are not resistant to solvents, or on rubber.
