Alpha® EZ Click2 2cm Linear Joint Base Screws
The Alpha® EZ Click2 tile leveling system uses a patent-pending screw-and-cap design that levels and spaces 3/4" to 1-1/4" (20mm to 30mm) porcelain pavers in a single hand-tightened motion. These 2cm-tall Linear Joint Base Screws lock the cap in place under tension; after the tile is set, the proprietary unlocking system instantly ejects the screw so installers skip the tedious unscrewing step common to wedge-style systems.

- Apply thinset and place the first paver, ensuring full mortar coverage.
- Slide a 2cm Linear Joint Base Screw under the paver edge with the spacer fin aligned to the joint.
- Set the adjacent paver so its edge rests against the spacer fin.
- Thread the EZ Click Screw Cap onto the base and hand-tighten until both pavers sit flush.
- Place one base every 6" along each paver edge for best leveling support.
- Allow the thinset to cure fully (typically 24 hours per the mortar manufacturer).
- Tap the cap sideways to crack the base at the score line; the screw ejects instantly for reuse of the cap.

Are custom 2.0mm or 3.0mm calibrations available?
Yes — Alpha produces 2.0mm and 3.0mm spacer calibrations on a demand basis. X and T joint base screws are not currently offered in the EZ Click2 line.
Is the EZ Click Screw Cap universal across both base sizes?
Yes. The same EZCLICKCP cap threads onto both the 1.0mm white and 4.0mm black 2cm bases. Tile weight determines how many cap-and-base sets you need per square foot.
Can I buy the EZ Click Screw Cap separately?
Yes. Caps are sold individually as EZCLICKCP so installers can reuse existing base screws from other vendors before transitioning to the EZ Click2 system.
How many bases should I plan per paver?
Alpha recommends placing one Linear Joint Base Screw every 6" along each paver edge. For a typical 24" x 24" paver this works out to roughly 16 base screws per tile when fully supported on all four sides.
What tile thicknesses do the 2cm bases support?
The 2cm-tall bases are engineered for paver tiles 3/4" to 1-1/4" thick (20mm to 30mm). For thinner wall and floor tiles, use the standard EZ Click2 wall/floor bases instead.
