Akemi Oil and Grease Remover Paste
AKEMI® Oil and Grease Remover Paste is a professional, solvent-based poultice for lifting grease, oil, and wax stains — and the discolorations that plasticizers in sealants leave along joints — out of natural and artificial stone. Its supple, creamy consistency lets it be spread thinly and evenly over smooth or polished surfaces, where it clings well while special absorbent substances draw the staining up out of the pores. It contains no acids, leaching agents, waxes, resins, or silicones, and is low in odor, so it can be used with confidence on marble, granite, engineered stone, terrazzo, cotto, and more.

Used on all kinds of natural and artificial stone to remove:
- Grease, oil and wax stains
- Discoloration in border areas resulting from plasticizers in sealing materials
Always test on an inconspicuous area first. In the case of plasticizer discoloration along joints, remove the sealant thoroughly from the joint before treatment.
- Make sure the surfaces to be treated are dry.
- If discoloration is in a border area, first remove the sealant thoroughly from the joint.
- Apply the paste with a brush or spatula in a layer of at least 1–2 mm. Recommended working temperature is 41–77°F (5–25°C).
- After drying (approx. 30–60 minutes), sweep off, vacuum off, or wipe away the residue.
- For intensive staining, repeat the procedure as needed (several times if necessary).
- As a final cleaning measure, treat the area with AKEMI® Stone Cleaner.
- Protect your hands — AKEMI® Liquid Glove is recommended when working with the product.
- Test the effect on an inconspicuous area before full application.
- To ensure orderly disposal, the tube must be emptied completely.
