Akemi Spider Polish 1000 mL
AKEMI® Spider is a fast-hardening polishing and care product made of highly efficient waxes and synthetic resins dissolved in hydrocarbons. It hides the fine “spider veins” and micro-fissures that show up on finely ground and polished stone, delivering a brilliant polish, a strong color intensification, and a water-repellent surface. It is offered in two versions of one product line — Spider Black, which darkens and intensifies dark and black stone, and Spider Clear, a colourless finish for keeping the stone’s natural tone — for professional indoor use on natural and artificial stone.
- Hides spider veins & micro-fissures — masks the fine web-like tears on dark or polished stone
- Brilliant polish + color intensification — Black deepens dark stone; Clear keeps the natural color
- Water-repellent finish — the treated surface sheds water
- Fast-hardening — easy to apply, re-polish, and renew when needed
- Reversible — films can later be removed with AKEMI® Wax Stripper

Recommended for:
- Fine-ground or polished natural and artificial stone — e.g. marble, granite, slate, terrazzo, travertine
- Indoor surfaces only; the Black version is ideal for dark and black stones
Protect nearby: objects in the work area that are not resistant to solvents — various synthetic materials, rubber, and lacquered / painted surfaces — must be masked and protected.
- Clean the surface thoroughly with AKEMI® Stone Cleaner. It must be clean and absolutely dry before use. Ideal application temperature is 59–77°F (15–25°C).
- Apply a thin layer with a cloth or brush; for larger areas apply with a mop.
- On very absorbent, non-polished surfaces, repeat the application.
- The ideal moment to polish is when the surface takes on a matt appearance — re-polish with a soft cloth or a white nylon pad on a floor polishing machine.
- For routine cleaning afterwards, use AKEMI® Mild Stone Soap or AKEMI® Crystal Clean.
- For professional use only.
- Apply in a thin layer only — too heavy a coat will keep the surface from taking a good polish.
- Protect solvent-sensitive items in the work area (various plastics, rubber, and lacquered surfaces).
- Below 48°F (9°C) the product turns viscous and below 32°F (0°C) it becomes almost solid — storing at about 59°F (15°C) restores workability.
- Films can be removed with AKEMI® Wax Stripper. For proper disposal, empty the container completely.
- Solvent-based, flammable product — use only in well-ventilated areas away from ignition sources and wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection. Always consult the AKEMI Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
