Akemi Liqui Polish Universal (650 mL)
AKEMI® Liqui Polish Universal is a viscous, ready-to-use polishing suspension of inorganic polishing substances that raises the gloss of pre-ground and polished stone. Wax-free and only slightly alkaline, it delivers a gentle grinding-and-polishing action that does not weaken the stone’s structure, letting fabricators skip grinding steps and reach a lasting polish faster. It is universally applicable to both hard and soft stone and is offered in two versions — “black” for dark stone and “white” for light stone. It can even lift light acid-etch marks from marble and limestone.

Increases the gloss level of pre-ground and polished hard and soft stone. Ideal for reworking or restoring workpieces such as window sills, corners and edges, kitchen countertops, washbasins, drain surfaces, tombs, small areas, and reliefs. The “black” version is for dark stone and the “white” version for light stone.
Because of the diversity of stones, it is mandatory to lay out a sample area. For professional use.
- Shake vigorously before use.
- Apply the desired amount of Liqui Polish Universal to the slightly humid surface.
- Work the surface with a humid polishing felt or pad; add a little water to cool the surface or pad as needed. Use a felt pad with a density of at least 0.56–0.64 g/cm³ (the AKEMI® Liqui Polish Pad is recommended).
- Pre-grind first as required for the stone type — e.g. dense limestone, onyx, and marble to grit 400; hard plutonic rock (granite, etc.) to grit 1500; dense effusive/metamorphic rock to grit 3000 — then polish.
- Repeat until the desired gloss is achieved; remove grinding residues with AKEMI® Stone Cleaner.
- For professional use only.
- Softer felt pads or synthetic pads are not suitable — they cause an “orange peel” surface.
- Because of the diversity of stones, always lay out a sample area first.
- For proper waste disposal, empty the container completely.
