Description

WPG N4950 8" Hand Cup with Metal Handle & Case for Flat Surfaces

The Wood's Powr-Grip N4950 is a hand-pumped vacuum cup built for lifting glass, polished stone slabs, and other smooth, non-porous flat surfaces. A durable metal handle drives the pump, a check valve holds vacuum between pumps, and a red-line indicator gives a visible warning if vacuum pressure drops. The cup ships with a protective carrying case and is eligible for the manufacturer's Hand Cup Exchange Program.

Features

  • 125 lb (57 kg) load capacity per cup on smooth, non-porous flat surfaces
  • 8 in (20 cm) flat vacuum pad
  • Durable metal handle, hand-pump actuated — no electricity or compressed air needed
  • Check valve holds vacuum, allowing repumping without losing existing grip
  • Red-line indicator gives a visible warning if vacuum pressure drops
  • Protective carrying case included
  • Eligible for the Wood's Powr-Grip Hand Cup Exchange Program

  1. Confirm the surface is smooth, non-porous, and free of dust, oil, or loose debris.
  2. Place the cup flat against the surface and pump the metal handle to draw vacuum.
  3. Watch the red-line indicator — if it becomes visible, re-pump the handle before lifting or continuing to carry the load.
  4. The check valve holds vacuum between pumps, so repumping does not release existing grip.
  5. Lift and move the load within the 125 lb (57 kg) rated capacity for a single cup.
  6. Release the valve lever to break vacuum once the load is set down.
  7. Store the cup in its carrying case when not in use.
What surfaces does the N4950 work on?

Smooth, non-porous, flat surfaces — glass, polished stone slabs, and mirrors. It is not rated for rough, porous, or curved surfaces.

How much weight can one cup lift?

125 lb (57 kg) per cup on a smooth, non-porous flat surface.

Does it need electricity or compressed air?

No. Vacuum is created by hand-pumping the metal handle.

What does the red-line indicator do?

It becomes visible when vacuum pressure drops, warning the operator to re-pump the handle before the grip weakens.

What is included with the cup?

A protective carrying case is supplied with the cup.

What temperature range is it rated for?

10°F to 120°F (-12°C to 49°C) for the material and ambient air.
