MAKITA 9564CV 4-1/2\" SJS™ High-Power Angle Grinder

The Makita 9564CV is a corded 4-1/2\" angle grinder built around Makita's SJS™ (Super Joint System) mechanical clutch, which disengages the gear train if the wheel binds or the tool kicks, protecting the motor and gears from shock damage. A 13 AMP motor drives the wheel from 2,800 to 10,500 RPM through a variable speed dial, so the tool can be slowed down for polishing passes or opened up for grinding and stock removal. This template also carries the 9565CV, the same grinder built around a 5\" wheel. Both share the same motor, clutch, speed range and control layout -- only wheel diameter and weight differ.
