Alpha® Libero Electroplated Dry-Cutting Blade
The Alpha® Libero is an electroplated diamond blade engineered for chip-free dry cutting of softer stones — marble, travertine, soapstone, alabaster, onyx and limestone — on angle grinders, stone cutters, and (in 7") worm-drive saws. Five sizes from 4" to 7" cover everything from small detail work to full-depth slab cuts.

- Match the blade size to your tool and confirm the blade Max RPM exceeds your tool RPM.
- Mount the blade with the correct arbor bushing for your spindle (7/8", 5/8", 20 mm, or diamond knockout per part number).
- Lower the blade fully onto the work and let blade weight do the cutting — do not force feed.
- Use a steady, light-pressure pass; back the blade out and re-enter to clear the kerf on deep cuts.
- For longer life, run with light water mist where the application allows (still rated for dry use).
- Inspect the diamond layer after each job — replace once the electroplated edge is worn smooth.

What materials can I cut with a Libero blade?
Softer stones: marble, travertine, soapstone, alabaster, onyx and limestone. It also handles fiberglass when used dry.
Can I use Libero on granite?
No. Granite is too hard for an electroplated diamond edge — the diamonds will dull almost immediately. Use a sintered or brazed blade for granite.
Can I use Libero wet?
Yes. Libero is designed to run dry, but adding water will significantly extend the life of the blade.
What is the advantage of a stone cutter over an angle grinder?
A stone cutter provides better stability and accuracy than a handheld angle grinder, especially for long straight cuts and miters.
Can I use Libero on fiberglass?
Yes — use it dry on fiberglass.
Which size do I need?
Match the blade diameter to your tool. 4"-6" sizes fit angle grinders and small stone cutters; 7" fits 7" worm drives and larger angle grinders.
