| Part No. | Kerf | Recommended For | Max RPM | Thread | UPC |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GCW258 | 4.2 mm | 3/4" (2 cm) Slab | 14,500 | 5/8"-11 | 749173470516 |

- Mount the groove cutter on a 5" high-speed angle grinder fitted with the Alpha® GCWKIT Universal Safety Guard Kit and an external water-feed line.
- Plug the grinder into a GFCI — required for any wet application.
- Open the water valve and confirm steady flow at the blade before contact.
- Set the cutter against the slab edge so the segment height matches the slab thickness (3/4" / GCW258 or 1-1/4" / GCW358).
- Run the grinder at or below the rated 14,500 RPM maximum.
- Move the cutter steadily along the joint line; do not force it sideways — let the diamond segments do the work.
- After the cut, flush the blade with clean water and let it air-dry to extend life.
