Alpha Katana Blade — Hybrid Dry Cutting Diamond Blade
The Alpha Katana is the tile installer's choice for dry cutting — a hybrid diamond blade engineered for hard porcelain tile, sintered slabs, and large-format panels. It also handles granite, marble, engineered stone, and glazed ceramic with minimal chipping. Run it on a high-speed angle grinder or an Alpha stone cutter, wet or dry.

- Match blade diameter to your tool's no-load RPM rating (see Models table).
- Confirm the blade arbor matches your spindle (7/8", 20mm, or 5/8" depending on variant).
- Mount the blade with rotation arrow facing the tool's direction of spin.
- Score the tile first with a shallow pass; finish with a steady full-depth pass.
- Cut wet whenever possible — extends life and suppresses silica dust. Use the Alpha Ecocutter or AWS-110/125 for wet work.
- For dry cuts, do not force feed — let blade speed do the work.
- Wear ANSI-rated eye protection, hearing protection, and an N95 (or better) respirator.
