UV Lamp with Bulb and Transformer for Curing Akemi Acid Protect
This professional UV lamp is the curing tool for AKEMI® Acid Protect Brush and Acid Protect Spray — the radiation-curing protective coatings that shield marble, limestone, and other acid-sensitive worktops against etching and household stains. Acid Protect stays workable until it is exposed to UV light, then hardens on demand under an AKEMI-approved lamp, letting the fabricator adjust the finish from matt to high gloss. The unit is supplied with its UV bulb and transformer.

AKEMI® Acid Protect is applied by brush, toothed spatula, or spray to marble, limestone, and other acid-sensitive surfaces. The coating remains soft until it is exposed to UV light from an AKEMI-approved lamp such as this one, which cures it to a hard, protective layer. Adjusting the exposure controls the final gloss level, from matt to highly glossy. Only use lamps approved by AKEMI to cure Acid Protect.
- Emits intense ultraviolet light — never look directly at the lit bulb and do not expose skin to the beam. Wear UV-rated eye protection.
- The lamp and bulb become hot in use; allow to cool before handling and keep clear of flammable materials.
- Operate strictly per the manufacturer’s instruction manual and the AKEMI Acid Protect Technical Data Sheet.
Professional UV equipment. Ultraviolet radiation can harm eyes and skin — use UV-rated eye protection and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Use only with AKEMI-approved coatings. Consult the AKEMI documentation (available from the manufacturer or stein.akemi.de) before use.
