The Aardwolf Hand Pump Vacuum Lifter AVLHP480 is a vacuum lifter for handling smooth, non-porous material. Application: Horizontal transport of non-porous sheets. Handles steel plate, glass, aluminum plate, polished marble, granite. It is rated at 528-1,056 lb (240-480 kg, by pad configuration), a 20.5" x 12.6" (520 x 320 mm) rectangular pad. Power/actuation: Hand pump or venturi pump.

  1. Inspect the vacuum pad seal for cuts, grit, or compression set before each shift.
  2. Charge or connect the pump power supply and confirm it primes.
  3. Seat the pad flat on clean, sound, non-porous material with no chips or seams under the seal.
  4. Draw vacuum and wait for the gauge to reach the safe zone before taking any load.
  5. Lift slowly and keep the load low; never stand or pass under a suspended load. Never exceed the rated 528-1,056 lb (240-480 kg, by pad configuration).
  6. Set the material down fully, then release vacuum and vent the pad.
